SYKE

I came on board writing a popular Finnish hospital series Syke in 2018 at the request of Petja Peltomaa, the creator of the series. At that time, the series changed from YLE (Finnish national broadcast company) to Nelonen (TV channel) and changed its format a bit.

The hospital world is an interesting setting for drama, and I and I worked with the series for a long time, seven seasons in total. Seasons 5 and 6 I worked as a screenwriter (a total of 20 episodes, each 22 min), seasons 7-11 I worked as a head writer (a total of 64 episodes, each 22 min). As the head writer, I managed the work of the script team and finished editing the episodes.

We had doctors involved in the making of the series to consult on patient cases, and the series has been praised for its skillful and extensive background work, in addition to the fact that the series is very loved and continues to this day.
