The fictional Kotka 10 TV drama series follows the work and private lives of rescuers at the fire station in Kotka. As the head writer, I led the work of a three-person script team and edited the episodes into finished scripts. I also wrote episodes myself.
The project was interesting, and it was fun to dive into a world I knew almost nothing about beforehand. For the series, we did a lot of research on the rescuers' work, and we had on board real-life rescuers, who helped us with the dialogue and also to plan the rescue missions. We wanted it to be as true as possible to real-life drama.
